Pendelton: Talks Red Raiders and More

South Garland WR Raimond Pendelton took his Lubbock official visit this weekend and visits with Scout.com about that, his remaining official visit agenda and his status toward making a commitment.

"It was fun, I liked it," Raimond Pendelton said of his official visit this past weekend to Texas Tech. "I liked it up there. They always said they were going to offer me a scholarship but they wanted me to check it out first."

Red Raider WR coach Sonny Dykes is tasked with the responsibility of bringing in the 6-0, 180/185-pound pass-catcher.

"Coach Dykes said I would fit into their scheme really well," Pendelton said.

At this point, two teams stand out above the others: "Kansas and Texas Tech."

He's taken officials to both schools as well as Utah. A couple of schools he's currently mulling over with regard to taking his fourth official visit are "either Iowa or Iowa State."

"I have to see if either one of those two are up there (with KU and TTU) and I'll know once I check it out," Pendelton said.

Also, still to be done with regard to his decision-making process will be the head coaches making their in-home visits.

"I'm definitely going to wait until they do that," he said.

Asked how many receivers the Red Raiders are going to take, Pendelton said "three-four."
