Chris Todd: Decision-Making Process Difficult

Spoke with Elizabethtown, Kentucky QB Chris Todd last night and he updated us on his commitment status, in-home visits, etc. Get that, and more, in our report below…

"Right now, I'm going to think things over a bit, but I'm still committed to Texas Tech," Chris Todd told last night.

With in-home visits from Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops, and Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach already knocked out, South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier still has his in-home visit available.

"Coach Spurrier is trying to get me to take an official visit," Todd on whether or not the former Florida Gator head coach would be in this week. "If I decide to take an official visit to South Carolina, then he's not going to come in this week. So, I don't know just yet."

The 2/3-star signal caller said the Sooners also want Todd to take an official visit for an up-close look at what Norman has to offer.

So what are the Red Raiders doing to counter this?

Texas Tech sends Sonny Dykes in this Thursday to do his best to seal the deal, and firm up Todd's commitment to the Scarlet/Black.

However, Todd and his family could very well elect to schedule one official visit to Oklahoma and then one to South Carolina. And then, make a final decision following those two official visits.

We'll let you know Thursday or Friday whether Todd officially ends the suspense after meeting with Dykes or if he chooses to take another official or two…
