Thus far, Jacobsen has unofficially tripped to "Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Stanford and BYU," Mr. Jacobsen told Scout.com.
His next unofficial tour will include visits to "Missouri and Baylor in the next four weeks."
Commitment-time frame: While teams have been doing their best to lock him up ASAP, Jacobsen "expects to make his decision before the season starts -- more than likely by the end of June."
Additional Notes: The athletic prep from Southlake Carroll can light it up on any surface. As a sophomore, the DFW-Area prospect was a 200-meter state finalist in Austin (one of just eight total), not to mention a regional finalist in the 100 meters. Having also played varsity baseball last season, Jacobsen fits the multi-athlete tag as well any.
