Tech Sweeps Pirates 14-0

<b>Tech</b> pounded out <b>16</b> hits and blitzed Seton Hall <b>14-0</b> on Sunday at Dan Law Field.

With the win, Tech completed a three-game sweep of Seton Hall and improved to 13-4 this season.

Tech has now won seven straight games and currently owns a 19-game home win streak.

Junior Jon Slack led off the game for Tech with a solo home run over the left field wall. Nick Blankenship added another run when he singled home Scooter Jordan.

Later in the inning, senior Bryon Smith added his second home run of the season, which gave Tech a 3-0 lead.

Tech extended it lead in the bottom of the third, scoring four runs on four hits and three walks to go ahead 7-0.

Senior catcher Willie Durazo blasted his third home in the fourth inning, extending the Raider lead to 8-0. Blankenship doubled in the next at-bat, giving him his second three-hit game of the season and the 12th of his career.

Nathan Fouts (3-1) claimed the victory for Tech, allowing no runs on three hits and struckout seven.
