Jeremy Maclin is still interested in Tech

Kirkwood High School star Jeremy Maclin is keeping his eye on the Red Raiders even after committing to Oklahoma.

Kirkwood High School athlete Jeremy Maclin is one of Texas Tech's top targets at the wide receiver. A few months back Jeremy committed to Oklahoma and it seemed that he was very solid with his choice. Although he remains committed to the Sooners, he has yet to cut off his recruitment entirely and is even considering taking some additional visits. "For now, I'm still committed to OU. I'm still being contacted by nearly every school that has offered though and even picked up a few new offers from UCLA and Arkansas."

As far as visits go, he has yet to decide exactly which schools he is going to setup officials for, but there is one team that is still high on Jeremy's list. "I'm still very interested in Tech, I just haven't had a chance to setup an official visit yet. I'm not sure when I will be able to get out there, but it may be after the season."

Jeremy has had an impressive start to his senior year at Kirkwood. Through four games, he has rushed 10 times for 140 yards with 2 touchdowns and caught 9 passes for 174 yards with 2 of those going for scores. Not only does Kirkwood use him on offense, they also take advantage of Maclin's special talent on defense and special teams, where he has excelled at both. Jeremy is one of the best punt-returners in Missouri, after returning 7 punts for 244 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, Jeremy has knack for catching the football with his team-leading 2 interceptions.
