Jarrius Jackson passes 1,000 point mark in the Red Raiders' victory over TCU

Texas Tech's standout guard Jarrius Jackson led the Red Raiders to their 3rd straight win on Wednesday, scoring 23 points and shooting 5-6 behind the 3-point arc. He also contributed 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in the game.

Newcomers Terry Martin and Jon Plefka had 14 points a piece, followed by Martin Zeno with 12. Martin and Plefka also pulled down 7 boards and dished out 3 assists each. Freshman Dior Lowhorn was 4-4 from the field and finished with 8 points.

Tech dominated the boards, out-rebounding TCU 42 to 21. Tech shot 49% from the field and 80% from the free throw line. The Horned Frogs shot just 36% from the field and 50% from the charity stripe.

Texas Tech faces the University of San Francisco Saturday in California. The game will be broadcast on ESPN Full Court and the Texas Tech Television Network. Tipoff is at 9:00 p.m.
