"Right now we are still in the playoffs and I am trying to focus on that," Hewitt said. "Texas Tech has been down twice this week and they want me to take an official visit on December 17 if we make it all the way to state and if we don't then they want me to take it before that. They told me that they are running out of visit dates and want me to come in soon."
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Hewitt, who is ranked as the nation's No. 32 cornerback by Scout.com has already taken one visit and has a few more in mind.
"I took an official visit to Oklahoma State and it went pretty well, we got to see a lot about the school and all when me and E.J. Shankle took a trip out there. I know that I want to set up a visit to LSU. I really like them, I just want to go down there and find out more about it."
While Hewitt was hesitant to name a leader it appears that LSU could be the front runner, but others are certainly involved.
"I still am looking at LSU, Miami, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and I am a little interested in Missouri. January is going to be a crazy month for me because it's just going to be back to back to back visits for me, but it's getting that time and I want to take a visit to a school before I commit there."
