Tech gives Coach Knight something to smile about in victory over Texas Pan American

It was a long afternoon for the Texas Pan American Broncos, who faced a superior Texas Tech team looking for redemption from their recent losses. The Broncos never led and were held to a dismal 28% field goal percentage. They also committed 31 turnovers in the game.

Texas Tech, on the other hand, shot a season best 63% from the field, including 45% from the behind three-point arc. Tech also had 16 steals and 28 assists.

Jay Jackson led the Red Raiders, shooting 9-13 from the field and 3-3 on free throws to score 22 points. He also dished out 6 assists and had 0 turnovers for the game.

Dior Lowhorn had 19 points and 5 boards. Terry Martin was 2-3 on three-point attempts and finished the game with 13 points.

All of the Tech players saw significant playing time, and each scored at least 4 in the game.
