Texas Tech Falls to Oklahoma State 74-63

Jarrius Jackson had another impressive outing, but the Red Raiders lost their second straight game and fell to 14-14 (6-8) on the year.

The Red Raiders were defeated by the Cowboys 74-63 in Stillwater on Saturday. Jarrius Jackson led Tech with 18 points and Alan Voskuil contributed 16 points from the bench.

Tech trailed 11-2 at the 13:57 mark in the first half. After some solid offensive play including a couple three pointers by Jackson, Tech pulled within 1 point making it 15-14 Cowboys. Despite outscoring the Cowboys in the second half, that would be the closest the Red Raiders would come for the rest of the game. Oklahoma State was up 44-30 at the end of the first half.

The loss brings Texas Tech's overall record to 14-14 and 6-8 in conference play. Their next match up is another road game against the Baylor Bears in Waco on Wednesday. The game will be televised on the Texas Tech Television Network at 7:00 pm, with coverage including the Lubbock area.
