As the game wound down, K-State continually tried to foul to keep in it, but the Red Raiders closed out the game very effectively. Jarrius Jackson made 10 straight free throws in the last 1:10 to keep Texas Tech out in front for good. Jay finished the night with 21 points.
Although Zeno and Jackson both stepped up huge in today's game, the game ball has to go to junior Tanner Ogden. Tanner had a career high 14 points on 5-7 shooting, including two big 3-pointers to give the Red Raiders the boost they needed to take the lead against the Wildcats.
Next up, Texas Tech will face the Texas Longhorns tomorrow at 11:30 am central time. The longhorns won both meetings between the teams this year by an average of 27 pts.
