A Battle of Big Men

Shirts ripped and the blood flowed in the big man one-on-ones in Waco on Saturday, with some of the fiercest battles coming between all-combine team members OL Tray Allen and DE Brandon Joiner.

Near the end of one-on-one time, drill instructer Bob Lichtenfels allowed the players to call out another player to face one-on-one. For South Grand Prairie's Tray Allen and Killeen Shoemaker's Brandon Joiner, the decision was mutual: they wanted each other.

Allen, who had been tough to beat head-to-head all day, and Joiner, who demonstrated athleticism and quickness in both testing and in drills, went after it five straight times, docummented in the photos below:
