Red Raiders in Top 2 for Tyler WR

Texas Tech is always looking to add versatile athletes to their recruiting class, and the Red Raider coaching staff has found another one out in Tyler, TX. Texas Tech has already made quite an impression on him, which has them firmly placed in his top 2 schools.

Jacob Amie, a WR out of Lee HS in Tyler, TX, is one of the more versatile athletes in the state of Texas. Amie, who stands at 6-5 and weighs close to 220 pounds, will be playing both sides of the ball next year as a DE and WR.

Jacob was at the combine last weekend and he was very impressive with his speed and body control. He had a fierce competitiveness about him during the combine which set him apart from the other participants.

So which schools are courting the Lee HS standout?

"Texas A&M and OSU have offered me already," said Amie. "I am hearing from a lot of schools though, such as Baylor, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M. I am mostly interested in Texas Tech and Texas A&M though."
