Terrance Toliver has Tech high on his list

Terrance Toliver is one of the elite prospects from the Lone Star State and one of the top wide receiver prospects in the nation among the Class of 2007.

Terrance Toliver, the 6-5 and 180 pound WR out of Hempstead (Texas) High school, has many great attributes that make him the #2 WR in the state of Texas.

"I have great awareness out there on the field," said Toliver. "I can explode off the line, break tackles and catch the ball. I have size, speed and power too. Right now, I am just working on my route running."

According to Toliver he has scholarship offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor, Arizona State, Kansas State, and Nebraska.

"I like LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Nebraska and Notre Dame.

"Harvey Williams (former LSU RB) is a friend of the family and I know him pretty well and talked with him the other day. He told me that LSU is a great school and I really like them.

"Oklahoma has a good young quarterback in (Rhett) Bomar and they like to pass the football.

"Texas Tech is a school that throws the ball all over the place.

"A&M is a team on the rise and (Stephen) McGee is going to be a good quarterback. They have a good coaching staff too."

"Nebraska has great fans and I am still researching them."

"I love their coach (Charlie Weiss) at Notre Dame. They are gonna be good. I saw them play last season.

My decision will come down to scheme, playing time, coaching, tradition… a little bit of everything."

Toliver hopes to camp at LSU and Notre Dame this summer.

Terrance is currently ranked #6 in the Texas Top 100.
