"I am receiving interest from Duke, Kansas State, Tulsa, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Florida State as well. My favorites are Vanderbilt, Florida State and Texas Tech.
Simpson talks about his favorites.
Florida State: "I received some interest from them, and I've always been a fan. I like the program, and I like the coaches. I like their offense because Coach Bowden knows how to adjust to each quarterback he gets."
Texas Tech: "I like the offense. It would be a good fit because that is what we run in high school. I like the coaches because of their philosophy."
Vanderbilt: "I like their academics. I plan to study in medicine. I like the conference, and they have good coaching. I plan to camp there this summer."
It's easy for a quarterback to put big numbers in a spread, no-huddle offense, but Simpson's numbers are incredible.
Simpson's junior campaign got it all started when he passed for 4,387 yards completing 257 out of 409 attempts. He recorded 52 touchdown passes and only 11 interceptions. He rushed for six touchdowns as well.
He was named Northwest Arkansas Times Player of the Year, All-State and All- Conference.
Simpson has maintained a 4.0 GPA for the past two years.
The 6-1, 207-pound athlete was asked his strengths and said, "My arm strength, awareness, accuracy and toughness."
Simpson knows the key factors for his college decision as well.
"The two things that would really influence my decision would be academics and just the overall program," he said.
