Hard-hitting Safety Picks Up 2 Offers

One of the most fierce defensive backs in the Lone Star State is Tyler Lee safety Tekerrien Cuba, who has now picked up two in-state offers.

"Texas A&M and Houston sent me written offers not too long ago," Tekerrien Cuba said. "LSU and Texas Tech are recruiting me really hard too, theymight be close to offering."

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Cuba was a third team all-Texas selection as a junior.

"Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, LSU, Oklahoma State and Houston are the schools right now," Cuba said. "I am really planning on trying to wait and check some things out before I decide."

A number of schools have already been by to check out Cuba since the evaluation period has gotten underway.

"Texas, Oklahoma, Houston, Nebraska and Duke were all at practice today (Monday)," Cuba said. "It was our first day of spring practice and they were all in, I'm sure some others will be coming by."
