Texas Tech offers Round Rock WR

One of the top playmakers in the Lone Star State is James Kirkendoll of Round Rock. He picked up several impressive offers early, but lately his offer list has shot through the roof.

"I have gotten offers from Kansas State, Colorado State, Miami, Texas Tech, Kansas, Oklahoma and Colorado in addition to the ones I already had," James Kirkendoll said. "I'm getting a lot of interest from LSU, Notre Dame and Michigan too."

The 5-foot-10, 167-pound Kirkendoll turned in one of the most impressive performances at the Scout.com combine in Waco, running a 4.38 40-yard dash and 4.08 shuttle.

"Right now I don't really have any favorites," Kirkendoll said. "I am trying too learn about schools and feel out some of these recruiters and go from there."

Kirkendoll reeled in 59 catches for 648 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.

"I went to Miami for a junior day back on March 3 and this weekend I am going to Notre Dame for a camp," Kirkendoll said. "My plan is to have a decision by late July or early August."
