Arlington CB generating a lot of interest

One of the top performances at the combine at Baylor was Arlington Seguin cornerback Jamell Fleming. He picked up some early offers, but in the last week three major schools started coming after him. Is Texas Tech one of them?

"I got Texas A&M last Monday, then Florida came later last week and Texas Tech came yesterday," Jamell Fleming said. "I already had them from UCLA, Baylor, Central Florida and Wisconsin."

The 5-foot-10, 179-pound Fleming ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and had a 4.19 second shuttle.

"Florida, Central Florida, Texas Tech and Texas A&M all called on Monday," Fleming said. "Wisconsin called today, but I missed it and UCLA is supposed to call this week I think."

As a sophomore Fleming made 75 tackles and seven interceptions and earned all-district honors. He was injured early during the 2005 season and sat out most of the year.

"Florida, Texas A&M and UCLA are my top three right now," Fleming said. "All three are pretty equal. I would like to make my decision before the season starts so I can just focus on that."
