Red Raiders going to offer Arkansas QB?

Arkansas QB Stefan Loucks has a handful of offers with more on the way. The Pulaski Academy All-Star has drawn several college coaches to the Little Rock campus. Did the Red Raider coaching staff make it down to see Stefan perform?

"New Mexico State stopped by today (Monday). Oklahoma State stopped by a few weeks ago. Tennessee was here last week. Mississippi State is coming on Wednesday. Arkansas should be here next week. Ole Miss came last week on Monday," reported Stefan Loucks.

Since our last update, The University of Wyoming has joined Mississippi State, Arkansas State, Auburn and New Mexico State on Loucks list of scholarship offers, but Stefan is not ready to pick any favorites.

"I am not really really weighing one school higher than the other. I am still going to try and visit all the schools that have offered," said Loucks. "I haven't visited New Mexico State or Wyoming yet. I am going to try and do that and go to a few camps this summer. I will just have to see how the summer ends. Hopefully, I will be able to make a decision then."

Loucks has been able to take visits to Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Auburn.

Mississippi State - "It was nice. I get to meet Coach Croom. He is a great guy. It's all new. They are building a whole bunch of new stuff. It's all kid of torn up right now, but you can tell it's going to be nice whenever they get it finished," said Stefan.

Georgia Tech - "It was amazing! They just got finished building everything. It's all high tech. It's all new stuff. It's in the middle of Atlanta. It's all kind of crammed in there, but I kind of liked it. Football is in one big area," stated Loucks.

Auburn - "People there love Auburn. Whenever we drove in, everyone had Auburn stuff on their cars and on their houses. It's a nice city. I really like the school. It's kind of old school. It was nice," remarked Stefan.

It appears there is another school on Stefan's radar due to their offensive scheme and it turns out he may be on their screen as well.

"Texas Tech is supposed to be coming some time this week. I think after they see me throw and if I do good for them, I think they will offer me. Texas Tech's offense is almost exactly what we run. That would be the perfect place for me to go," said Stefan.

Loucks is expected to easily qualify. Coming from a pass happy offense in high school, Stefan says that a high octane offense will be a plus for the the schools that make it into his final group of favorites.
