Mississippi RB hearing from the Red Raiders

With all the talent that is found inside the state of Texas, the Texas Tech coaching staff rarely needs to venture outside of the Lone Star State. On occasion, a prospect will catch their eye and the Red Raiders will try to reel him in.

Bobby Moore attended the 2006 Scout.com Combine in Mississippi. He was one of the best all-around athletes in attendance, and his numbers reflected that.

Bobby Moore (RB, Hazlehurst, MS) - Bobby measured in at 5' 9", 173 and ran a stunning 4.09 shuttle, which times your quickness.

It is no wonder Hazlehurst won the Class 3A State Championship last season. Their backfield included MSU commitment, Damein Anderson, and Bobby "quick as a cat" Moore.

Moore rushed for 1,246 yards and 14 touchdowns on 147 carries last season.

Bobby's other numbers at the combine were solid as a rock. Bobby ran a 4.5 forty, and he had the best three cone time (7.22) out of all of the running backs. He can get to top speed in a hurry and can change directions and get back to top speed in a hurry. Not a bad trait to posses as a skilled player.

Ole Miss, LSU, MSU, and Texas Tech are showing the most interest.
