Red Raiders send out another offer

With Jarrett Hicks, Joel Filani, and Robert Johnson all graduating after this next season, the Texas Tech coaching staff will be looking to fill those gaps with some high profile talent. The Red Raiders' newest offer would fit the bill nicely.

One of the top wide receivers in the Lone Star State is College Station A&M Consolidated wide out Detron Lewis, who recently added three new offers.

"Oklahoma State was the first to offer a while back," Lewis said. "Now Texas Tech, UTEP and Utah have all come on and offered in the last few weeks."

Lewis caught 62 passes for 973 yards and 10 touchdowns during his junior season.

"I have gotten calls from Texas Tech and Kansas State so far this month," Lewis said. "Texas A&M wasn't showing me any interest, but here recently they have really started showing me a good bit. TCU has too."

As a junior Lewis was named first team all-district selection and honorable mention all-state.

"Oklahoma State, Utah, Texas Tech, UTEP and Texas A&M are my favorites right now," Lewis said. "I will probably wait a while and take some visits before I decide anything."
