Red Raiders target Arkansas QB

With quarterbacks Jarrett Lee and Patrick Witt already committing to LSU and Nebraska respectively, the Red Raiders are looking at some other prospects that fit the billing to be a Texas Tech quarterback. That player just might be Stefan Loucks out of Little Rock, AK.

QB Stefan Loucks has seen his interest to and from some schools change in the past few weeks. The talented gun slinger also picked up a new offer recently.

"Kansas has offered. I don't know a lot about them, but I am going to do some research on them. If I like what I see, I may go out there for a visit," said Loucks

Kansas joins Auburn, Arkansas State, Cal, Mississippi State, Missouri and Wyoming as schools that have offered scholarships.

One of Loucks' top schools, Cal, picked up a commitment from Quarterback Brock Mansion. Loucks says despite a commitment at his position, Cal is still very much in the picture.

"When we went out there Coach Dunbar told me they were looking to sign two Quarterbacks, so my situation with them has not changed," said Stefan.

Texas Tech and their pass happy scheme is still high on Stefan's list and he says, "I am just waiting on them to offer."

While Loucks is still high on Tech, he appears to have cooled on Arkansas as they appear to be set at Quarterback for the next few years.

Will Loucks get the offer from the Red Raiders he so desires or will this be an inter-conference battle between Mizzou and the Golden Bears of Cal? Stay with Scout.com to find out.
