2003 Spotlight: Robert Killebrew

<b>Houston Klein linebacker</b> talks about his commitment status in an exclusive <b>RaiderPower.com</b> interview.

CT: What schools are in your top five?

RK: "UCLA, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida are my top four right now."

CT: What schools have offered?

RK: "Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas Tech, Florida, UCLA, USC, Texas and several other schools that I can't remember."

CT: Are you close to committing?

RK: "Not yet, because I'm still looking at my options. I gotta do what's right for me and my family."

CT: How interested are you in Texas Tech?

RK: "They're pretty good and Tech is close to home. I'll give them a look."

CT: What were your stats last season?

RK: "I had 98 tackles, 54 unassisted, eight sacks, 14 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, two recovered fumbles and one touchdown."

CT: What are your weight room stats?

RK "I bench 365, squat 455, powerclean 305 and incline 300."

CT: What do you know about Texas Tech?

RK: "Not much, but a couple of players from Klein go there. They all like it (Tech) a lot."

CT: What do you think about Texas Tech and Coach Mike Leach?

RK: "Tech is definitely on the rise, they look really good."

CT: What are your strengths on the football field?

RK: "My quickness and speed."

CT: Where do you need improvement?

RK: "My only weakness is my size and I can't work on that too much."

CT: Do you play any other sports?

RK: "I run track."

CT: How'd you do?

RK: "It was my first year running (track), but I made regionals in the 4X4."
