The Red Raiders will be participating in this year's College Basketball Experience Classic, formerly known as the Guardians Classic. If Texas Tech is able to advance to the semi-finals, they could play teams such as Duke, Stanford, or Wisconsin.
The college basketball tournament once known as the Guardians Classic has now been changed to the College Basketball Experience (CBE) Classic. Texas Tech is one of the regional hosts for this 16-team/16-conference tournament which begins on November 12th. The other three regional hosts include Duke in Durham, North Carolina, Marquette in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Stanford in Palo Alto, California.
Four teams will compete in each region, with the winner of each region advancing to the Championship Rounds at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri on November 20th and 21st. The game times and match-ups will be announced soon.
Tickets for the Regional Rounds are available through each host school's ticket office. Championship Round tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster and at the Municipal Auditorium box office.
