Gerald Jones firm to Tennessee?

After the Army All-American Bowl, had a chance to catch up with 4 star wide receiver Gerald Jones to talk about his commitment to Tennessee. Texas Tech was his number one choice before opting to commit to the Volunteers in late Novemeber. Is he solid to Tennessee or will Mike Leach get another shot at reeling him in before signing day?

Gerald Jones was at the top of the Red Raider coaching staff's list to be the next big wide receiver at Texas Tech. After an in-home visit from Tennessee's Coach Fulmer, he pulled the trigger and committed to the Volunteers.

With about one month left until signing day, we asked him how solid he is to Tennessee.

"I'm solid as a rock to Tennessee," said Jones. "I'm a Vol."

Gerald did mention that two schools are still after him really hard. "Texas Tech and Florida are still recruiting me. I may have an in-home visit from both schools. "

Although it looks like the chances of Gerald changing his commitment are slim, best friend and current Texas Tech commit Tramain Swindall, along with an in-home visit from Mike Leach, may be enough to put Tech back in the hunt.

Stay tuned to as we follow the recruitment of Jones up until signing day.
