CJ Parish Keeping His Options Open

CJ Parish is the 57th ranked linebacker nationally and has been receiving recruiting interest from all across the spectrum of schools. Parish has offers from UTEP, Baylor, and Texas State but is still being actively recruited by Texas Tech and several other schools. Come inside as RaiderPower talks with the CJ about his recruitment, what he is looking for in a school, and his timetable to commit.

CJ told RaiderPower that he is still being recruited by Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, UTEP, Texas State, Oklahoma State and has added Iowa State and the University of North Texas to the mix.

"The big thing for me is where they see me playing in their defensive set, what they see me doing and how I can contribute."

While he only holds offers from Baylor, UTEP, and Texas State, Parish said "There are a couple of others talking about offering but I don't want to put anyone on the spot."

His decision is one that won't come easily or without thought. "You know, I am going to sit down with my family, my pastor, and we are going to make this decision together. This isn't just about football, I want to know about the teachers and that they have their academics in order."

Parish is determined to make the right decision and plans on thinking about his options before he commits.
