Mike Leach in Oklahoma

Mike Leach is out making his last recruiting visits before signing day on February 7th. He recently was in Oklahoma City to catch up with current Texas Tech commit Tramain Swindall. RaiderPower.com caught up with Tramain to see how his visit went with the Red Raider head coach.

Tramain Swindall, the first commit in the class of 2006, received a big-time visitor at his Millwood High School basketball game.

"Leach came down Thursday night to watch my basketball game," said Swindall. "He followed my parent's home afterwards to do his in-home visit."

Head coaches are allowed to do in-home visits one time for each recruit.

"The visit went great," said Swindall. "We talked about my basketball game and the game winner I hit." Tramain hit a last second shot to give Millwood the win by 1 point.

Mike Leach didn't head out to Oklahoma alone. He brought assistant coaches Ruffin McNeill and Seth Littrell along with him to speak with Tramain about becoming a Red Raider.

"We also talked about Tech some more and what I need to do this summer to get ready."

Tramain was Tech's first commit and has been solid to the Red Raiders ever since.

"I'm solid to Tech. I'm excited to get down and get started."

Tramain is ranked as a 3 star prospect by Scout.com and the #9 player in the state of Oklahoma.
