Chambers' Recruitment Picking up Steam

O'Neill Chambers out of Harmony, FL is a talented athlete who can play on any side of the football but is an especially skilled WR. Summer is off to a good start for him as he has picked up a few more offers. Chambers has consistently placed Texas Tech near the top of his favorites list, and the Red Raiders are hoping that the new offers don't change his mind.

O'Neill Chambers' summer started with a bang... he has already attended a camp and pulled in a couple of new offers.

"I am just getting back from a camp at Florida," said Chambers. "It went good. It was real good. We went to a team camp and we worked on some individual drills. They said I was the best receiver there."

Chambers has plans to attend at least two other summer camps.

"I am going to Utah (BYU) for a camp at the end of this month and later for a camp in Texas (Texas Tech)," said O'Neill.

On the recruiting front, Chambers had a few updates. "I picked up a new offer from South Carolina last week. Georgia Southern offered me too. That is eight or nine now."

More schools may soon be entering the mix. O'Neill reports some increased attention from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Rutgers and Temple.

"My favorites right now would be BYU, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Maryland, Florida and South Carolina."

Chambers reports that he is going to make a post season decision and he plans to take some official visits before deciding on a commitment.
