It looks like Ruffin McNeill will have one less player to work with on the defensive side of the ball next season. A member of the class of 2008 informed RaiderPower that he has in fact decomitted from Texas Tech and will start to look around. Come inside for the latest scoop.

Running back Jocques Crawford out of Cisco JC has decommitted from Texas Tech. After commiting to the Red Raiders back in April, his plans have since changed.

"I have decommitted from [Texas] Tech," said Crawford. "I want to play running back in college and Tech is recruiting me as a safety. I was originally going to play safety this year for Cisco, but they moved to running back."

Crawford has had an exceptional year at running back, which is one of the main reasons he has decided to pursue it at the next level.

The 4 star running back has already heard from another school.

"Tcu has offered me as a running back," said Crawford. "I don't want to compete with my brother Aaron [Crawford]. He's doing really well down there and he deserved to be playing."

With the decommitment of Crawford, the Red Raiders have 12 commitments for the class of 2008.
