WR Aaron Fisher interested in Tech

WR Aaron Fisher has pulled in offers from all over the country over the past month. The Red Raiders have yet to offer, but the talented WR is hoping to hear from them soon.

To say that Keller (TX) Fossil Ridge wide receiver Aaron Fisher has had a good month so far could be an understatement. After pulling in first offer from Arizona in mid-March, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound Fisher has been pulling in quite a few more in the month of April.

"I'm pretty ecstatic because I got a lot of offers in a short amount of time, Fisher said. "Everything seems to be going pretty good. I got an offer today from Vanderbilt and yesterday I got one offer from Kansas."

With two new offers, Fisher holds seven, and it would seem like there may be more coming. Northwestern, Iowa, Purdue, Boise State are the schools in the running for now. While Fisher is currently pushing for a state berth on the track, he looks to continue working the recruiting process.

But now that it seems his stocks are on the rise for the moment, could there be other Big 12 schools trying to put their names in the hat?

"I really want an offer from Texas Tech and Oklahoma," Fisher said. "My friend RJ Washington talks highly of the Oklahoma program and he likes it up there a lot."

At the moment, Fisher said he is partial with Arizona and Purdue because of the football/academic combination that both schools present. But with track in full swing, Fisher said he might not be able to make any more visits before the school year is out.

Instead, over the summer he plans to go to a few schools including Arizona, Purdue, Oklahoma, and a few others. He finished the season with 61 receptions for 1,059 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a return specialist, he averaged over 44 yards a return and scored one touchdown.
