Red Raiders' Newest Offer- OL Josh Aladenoye

He may not have many offers in hand, but North Mesquite offensive lineman Josh Aladenoye is very happy at the progression of his recruitment. A recent offer from the Red Raiders has Aladenoye especially excited. Now, the Texas lineman is planning where he will go this summer in search of the right fit. Come inside to find out what the talented lineman thinks of Texas Tech.

Good news came to North Mesquite offensive lineman Josh Aladenoye from his coach Monday morning. In a class that has plenty of solid Division I lineman, the 6-foot-6, 340-pound Aladenoye just wants to find the best fit for him.

He holds a few offers, but his latest has him quite excited.

"I actually got an offer from Texas Tech yesterday," Aladenoye said. "It felt good because the (Texas Tech) coach told me that they are not offering too many linemen because of limited slots. I have been working really hard to get noticed, and now it has paid off."

Aside from the fact that Aladenoye was unaware the Red Raiders were even looking at him, he said he felt "honored" to receive an offer from them. Aladenoye said a coach came by Monday, and now Texas Tech definitely has his attention.

"I hadn't really had any contact with them until here recently," Aladenoye said. "I didn't know they were that interested until they offered. I don't really know much about the program, but I plan to visit them this summer."

After recording 50 pancake blocks in his junior season, Aladenoye has attracted quite a few major programs. His other offer is from Oklahoma State, but he feels Kansas is close to offering as well.

Texas Tech, Oklahoma, LSU, and Texas A&M are the schools that he said he has the most interest in. With that said, Aladenoye has a solid Top two, and the Red Raiders are in it.

"I haven't ranked schools by one or two, but I would have to say that Texas Tech and Oklahoma are my top schools," Aladenoye said. "Before I knew that they [the Red Raiders] were interested in me, Oklahoma was my top choice. Now Texas Tech is right up there with them."

Aladenoye said that he plans on committing before or during his senior season. But he said he would rather get it done during the summer.
