Three Team Race For Texas WR

After taking his last official visit, WR Emory Blake talks with about where he is in the decision making process and what factors are going to be key in his final commitment. Come inside for the latest...

Austin wide receiver Emory Blake says that he's down to three schools and won't take any more visits before making his choice.

The 3-star WR says that while he's still hearing from several schools, he's only considering at all three of his favorites as signing day draws closer.

"I'm looking at Auburn, Colorado and Texas Tech," Blake said.

Having already visited all three schools officially, Blake says that now he has to decide on which one is the right fit for him. Without a timetable set on making his decision, he notes he'll just try to see which school was overall the best for him.

"I'm just looking for a place where I'm comfortable," he says. "A place that has good coaches and players I can get along with. I'm also looking for a place where I can compete to start and try to make a difference my first year there."

On Feb. 4, players from around the country will be signing with the school of their choice and making it official. Blake says he may not have a decision until that day or it could come sooner. One thing is for sure and that is he'll be someone that three schools will be giving a lot of attention to this week.

"I'm not sure on when I'll make my final decision," he adds. "I'm just playing it by ear. I don't have any plans yet."
