Recruiting Update: WR Kyle Guinyard

As junior, WR Kyle Guinyard caught 110 passes for 1,751 yards and 20 touchdowns. His production on the field has led him to a hectic recruiting process as he sits on five offers and looks from schools in all the major conferences. Guinyard talks to about recruiting.

"Recruiting is going good right now but it is getting hectic," said Ennis High School wide receiver Kyle Guinyard. "I have offers from Texas Tech, Kansas, Tulsa, Colorado, and UTEP and I'm hearing from a lot of other schools."

Guinyard says Texas Tech and Kansas are his top two schools.

On Texas Tech: "They pass the ball a lot and they run the same offense we run in high school. I think I would fit right in because they run that offensive system. I plan on getting down there for a visit because I need to learn more about them. But I know that I like how they throw the ball."

On Kansas: "They throw the ball a lot too. And they spread the ball around. They have really productive receivers. I like that. I like the way they use their receivers."

Guinyard has not planned his summer camp schedule. However, he says that he will inform when he begins to plan his one day camp schedule.
