Tre Porter Having Doubts?

Oklahoma cornerback Tre'Vante Porter committed to the Red Raiders back in August and was a big addition to Texas Tech's very talented defensive recruiting class of 2010. got an update from Porter recently, who has been fairly quiet since committing to the Red Raiders. Carl Albert High School cornerback Tre'Vante Porter is one of the top players in Oklahoma and was a very big addition to the Red Raiders' 2010 recruiting class when he committed back in August.

Recently, however, Tre has been having some second thoughts about his commitment, which he talked about to

"I'm committed to Texas Tech right now," Tre explained, "But I am interested in learning more about some other programs."

And which programs specifically is he looking at?

"I'm not comfortable saying right now."

Before committing to Texas Tech, Porter had narrowed his choices to Oklahoma State and the Red Raiders, but he also showed a lot of interest in Kanasas and Nebraska earlier in the recruiting process.

In addition to his former favorites, Porter has offers from Arizona, Kansas State, Louisville, Toledo, and Vanderbilt.

While Tre is keeping his thoughts on recruiting close to the vest, he was very excited to talk about the Titans' season so far.

"We are playing good right now, and I feel like I am playing well," he said. "I hope I see you at the state championship game."

Carl Albert is currently 9-2 and faces Bishop Kelley, the top-ranked team in the state, on Friday.

On the season, Porter has recorded 85 tackles and one interception.

Offensively, the mutli-talented threat has accumulated 573 yards on the ground and nine rushing touchdowns and is averaging 10 yards per carry.
