Taylor Potts got the start for the Red Raiders final home game of the 2009 season and turned in one of his best performances of the season, carving up Oklahoma with 388 yards and two touchdowns the way to a 41-13 victory.
All the seniors were honored before the game, but it was a junior who was simply too much for the Sooner defense.
Running back Baron Batch was able to attack through the air and on the ground, finishing the game with 204 total yards and two touchdowns. Brandon Sharpe, who came into the game with 10.5 sacks and ranked 2nd nationally, added 2.5 more to his season total.
With the win, Texas Tech is now bowl eligible for the 16th straight season.
The Red Raiders will finish the regular season next week when they face the Baylor Bears in Arlington.
