O-Line Focus

Aside from the popular battle for the starting quarterback position, the offensive line shuffle for the Red Raiders has become one of the more popular aspects to focus on during the fall camp.

Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville and offensive coordinator Neal Brown each acknowledged that there are several different things going on as far as combinations of who will play where once the season begins. Brown also said he would like to have a solid combination in place that he would not have to change too much from game-to-game, barring any injuries of course.

Justin Keown has established himself as the leader at center while Brown said he would more than likely move Chris Olson over to right tackle next to Deveric Gallington (RG).

Players will rotate the reps at about an even number between first and second team through this week and Tech's second scrimmage on Saturday.

Lonnie Edwards and LaAdrian Waddle still look to be the starters on the left side but freshman Beau Carpenter is making a push to play this season, as well.

"I'd like to redshirt Beau," Brown said. "But I just don't know if that's going to happen."
