Kabongo decommits

LonghornDigest has learned that five-star point guard Myck Kabongo has decommitted from Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound senior is Scout.com's No. 2 rated point guard. The Longhorns appear to still be a player for his commitment. Other potential destinations include North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky and Syracuse. Rumors surfaced about a decommitment from the Findlay Prep player in August, but Kabongo put an end to the rumors at that time, stating: "I never once said that I was going to de-commit or anything like that."
