Texas was able to prevail over Connecticut despite T.J. Ford's foul trouble and a huge night by Emeka Okafor largely due to the clutch shooting of Brandon Mouton. Next up, Michigan State.

Brad Buckman blocks Hilton Armstrong's shot early in the game. Buckman also had six rebounds on the night.

James Thomas goes up for one of his team-high 15 rebounds. Emeka Okafor led all players with 17 rebounds, but Thomas was still a force on the boards.

Despite a hand in his stomach, Brandon Mouton was able to sink this three-pointer in the second half. Mouton was 4-7 from behind the arc for the game.

T.J. Ford looks for an open man -- he finished the game with nine assists and only one turnover.

Our women are hotter than their women!

Royal Ivey goes strong to the basket in the second half. Ivey scored ten points and pulled down six rebounds for Texas.

Brandon Mouton flies in for two of his game-high 27 points. Mouton hit from inside and outside to carry the scoring load.

T.J. fights through some full-contact defense. Ford had to sit out for about five minutes after picking up his 4th foul midway through the second half.

The Texas bench reacts after T.J. hit two crucial free throws late in the game.
