His torn ACL hasn't stopped coaches from extending verbal offers to the 2012 4-star talent. On Tuesday, he added to his long list of verbals when Utah came to the table. The Utes join Iowa, Purdue, Arizona, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Baylor, Iowa State, Oregon, TCU, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Tulsa and Texas Tech to offer, while Texas and USC continue to recruit Davis.

As a sophomore in 2009, Davis passed for 1,393 yards along with 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,427 yards and 22 touchdowns.
