Daniels Postpones Texas Visit

A four-star wing with a quickly approaching decision has elected to postpone his visit to Texas.

Former Texas commitment DeAndre Daniels was scheduled to visit the Longhorns this weekend, but that visit will now take place at a later date.

Daniels, Scout.com's No. 35 overall prospect in the Class of 2011, intends to enroll at the school of his choice over winter break and start there at semester. He does not, however, intend to play for that school until next year.

The decision will give Daniels, a skinny 6-foot-7 forward, a chance to spend a full offseason in a high-level strength and conditioning program.

Daniels is expected to choose between Texas, Kansas and Kentucky. He has already officially visited Kansas and Kentucky.
