Wyatt Named to Texas Staff

The Longhorns filled one of their coaching vacancies Sunday, announcing Darrell Wyatt as wide receivers coach and co-recruiting coordinator.

Wyatt comes to Texas from Kansas, where he served as co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach.

"We are so excited about the addition of Darrell to our staff," said Texas coach Mack Brown. "He's not only one of the best wide receiver coaches in the country, but he also brings expertise as an offensive coordinator.

"Darrell's someone who has coached in the NFL and has been recognized as one of the nation's top recruiters," Brown added. "He has extensive experience working in the Big 12 and recruiting in all parts of Texas. He is a great addition to our staff.

LonghornDigest will have more on the hire later.
