Final Game In: Texas a No. 2 seed

Even before the Baylor game started, Texas was locked into the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 Tournament next week.

But the Longhorns' likely first opponent wasn't decided until the final whistle, one that left Baylor behind Nebraska in the Big 12 standings, courtesy both of the Longhorns' win over the Bears, and of Colorado's win over Nebraska on Saturday night.

As the two seed, Texas (25-6, 13-3 Big 12) will take on the winner of the 7-10 game, with Nebraska (19-11, 7-9) representing the conference's No. 7 team. Oklahoma (13-17, 5-11) is the No. 10.

Should the seeds play out, Texas will have a chance to avenge its first Big 12 conference loss this year. The Cornhuskers snapped a Longhorn winning streak when the two teams met up in Lincoln, abruptly sending the 'Horns on a skid where they dropped three of four games, losing the conference title in the process.

The winner of that game will take on the winner of the game between the No. 3 seed (Texas A&M) and either No. 6 seed Colorado and No. 11 seed Texas Tech.
