Starts, the No. 3 offensive guard in the country, according to Scout.com, has a number of big offers, including ones from Auburn, Notre Dame, Michigan and USC. But this battle is expected to come down to a trio of Texas schools in Texas, Baylor and TCU.
The latter two schools have offered Starts a chance to play on the defensive side of the ball in college, while Texas is recruiting him on the offensive side of the ball.
Starts has a great frame at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, and has fantastic foot quickness and athleticism for his size. He is considered the top interior offensive lineman in the state, though he could also play offensive tackle or at either spot on the defensive line at the next level.
