Who else has been showing strong interest?
Strong plans to attend the Longhorns' June 1st summer camp and the Oklahoma Sooners' June 2 summer camp. He, of course, is looking forward to attending those two camps while hoping to garner a 'ship offer from the Horns after demonstrating his talents to Mack Brown's coaching staff.
The 6-2, 200-pound wideout also said he's wide-open and, although everybody appears to think this is a two-team race (Oklahoma and Texas), he shied away from that speculation, specifically noting that he thinks highly of the TCU program and is open to other offers.
"I'd like to check some campuses out before narrowing this thing down," Strong said.
"I do like TCU, Oklahoma and Texas and I'm not going to deny that, but this isn't just between those schools and those schools only," Strong continued. "I also like Colorado, K-State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas Tech, LSU and a lot of other schools."
Noticeably absent from the Nike Camp in College Station, Strong said he had a huge blister on his toe and was very disappointed that he was unable to make it.
"Man, it really hurt me in the sense that I wanted to be close to 100 percent and show everybody what I could do," Strong confessed. "I really wanted to go, but needed to get it healed up for my summer camps I'm planning to attend on June 1st and 2nd."
Expect Strong to approach the Texas camp with nothing to lose. That's his mindset and he said he's not going to let the lack of an offer affect his attitude.
"If they offer me, great," Strong said. "If they don't, that's fine too."
This is a wideout to pay attention to as he's one of Central Texas' brightest stars.
