Safety Makes 24
Saturday, according to LonghornDigest.com sources, Texas gained a commitment from Adrian Colbert, one of the top safeties in the state. The Mineral Wells product was previously committed to Baylor, but reopened and was expected to take an official visit to see the Bears in January. But over the course of his official visit to Texas, the speedy senior liked what he saw and pulled the trigger for the Longhorns. Colbert is also one of the state's top track athletes, and a returning state champion in the 400-meter dash. This year, he said he wants to go to state in both the 200 and the 400, while making a run at the state record in the latter event. He will also run track at Texas. Colbert is the 24th commitment in the Texas class. Stay logged in to LonghornDigest.com for more information on the Longhorns' newest commitment.
