Connor Brewer said he enjoyed his visit to Texas this past weekend. After flying in, heading to the hotel, changing and hitting the banquet, Saturday allowed him to spend a bit more time seeing the sights.
"The next morning, we went over to Coach Brown's house to have breakfast," Brewer said. "It was awesome that he opened up his house to all of us. It was one of the really special parts of the weekend."
After breakfast, Brewer said the recruits met with the strength coaches and the academic staff. After a tour, Brewer was able to meet with offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin.
"We just talked a bit about what I had to do to get ready before I get in here in about a month," Brewer said.
Then, all of the recruits went over to the Longhorn Network studios, which Brewer said was a big hit.
"It was really cool," Brewer said. "We're the only school in the nation that has anything like that."
Brewer said he enjoyed the trip, and his host, Jaxon Shipley.
"He's a good kid and pretty funny," Brewer said. "He's a fun dude and obviously a great receiver. I'm excited to hang out with him more, and to throw him the ball."
With Brewer taking so many trips to Austin over the past few months, he said there wasn't anything on his trip that really surprised him.
"It was great, but I expected it to be that way," Brewer said. "I knew when I committed to the school that it was a great place, and my official visit just reaffirmed that."
