"Coach (Oscar) Giles and I have been talking, and we're going to get something done," Prevot said. "It will probably be in May, like May 10th or so."
Prevot was supposed to make it to Oklahoma State this weekend, but wasn't able to get there. That means that his three favorite schools at the moment — Texas, LSU and Texas A&M — are still the three schools that he's been to.
"I love the schools that I've visited," Prevot said. "It's really coming down to who's putting forth the effort and who's showing the most love."
Prevot said he loved the coaching staffs at all three schools, said that all three had great facilities and said that the way each team ran its defense also stood out.
"There are so many things I like about (those schools)," Prevot said.
Prevot said most schools were recruiting him as a hybrid linebacker and defensive end, a good fit for his talents and his frame at 6-foot-4 and nearly 210 pounds.
But which school will get him is still up in the air.
"I don't know right now," Prevot said. "I'll decide after I take my five (official) visits. I want to make my decision early in the season."
