Alief Taylor defensive end Torrodney Prevot said that a potential mid-May visit to the 40 Acres wasn't going to happen.
"We haven't really talked about that visit in recent weeks," Prevot said. "The plan is for me to go down to one of the June camps, June 9 or 10, whichever one that is."
That won't be the only summer camp that Prevot will attend this summer. The pass rusher said he planned to hit the California and LSU camps, and likely either Florida State or Miami. Prevot said that location wasn't a big factor for him, and that the thought of leaving the state to go to school didn't really bother him.
"When I was talking about when I wanted to make my commitment, I said my timeline would be based on when I was able to learn more about the schools recruiting me," Prevot said. "I haven't really had a chance to do that. I want to look around first and then commit to a school. I don't want to commit to a school and then feel like I want to look at more schools later."
Prevot said that he wasn't waiting for any more schools to join the fray, adding that "the schools already on my list, the ones that offered me, are the ones I want to figure out more."
"I'm not really waiting to hear from anybody else," Prevot said. "Most of the top schools are already recruiting me, so there really aren't a whole lot more to choose from."
