2014 Recruiting: Offensive Line

With a bunch of Longhorn linemen set to graduate after the 2013 season, expect Texas to go offensive line heavy in 2014.

Expected OLs on the 2014 roster: Dominic Espinosa, Josh Cochran, Sedrick Flowers, Garrett Greenlea, Taylor Doyle, Marcus Hutchins, Kennedy Estelle, Camrhon Hughes, Curtis Riser, Darius James (2013 commitment), Kent Perkins (2013 commitment), Jake Raulerson (2013 commitment)

Needs: Three to Five. Texas will probably bring another lineman or two into the fold in the 2013 class, and the Longhorns would probably like to be somewhere between 15-18 for the 2014 season.

2014s Committed: None.

Prognosis: The Longhorns have targeted, and are in on, some of the state's top offensive linemen for 2014, and their stellar 2011-2013 classes should provide a nice young backbone for the team, but, to put it bluntly: they need bodies. Keep an eye on Fort Worth All Saints OT Demetrius Knox, the apparent top offensive lineman in the state and a Longhorn lean. After that, Texas may go out of state to fill some of its quota, though in-staters like Austin Schlottmann and Jovan Pruitt will certainly earn a look, among others. For a wild card, keep an eye on Cibolo Steele's Josh Malin (6-6 255), who might be out-growing his current defensive end position.
