Way-Too-Early 2014 Texas Top 10 Offense

Mount Pleasant receiver Kd Cannon heads up the state's top offensive prospects for 2014.

1) Kd Cannon, WR, Mount Pleasant — The most explosive receiver in the state has great speed for a 6-foot-1 wideout. Huge, sure hands.

2) Jerrod Heard, QB, Denton Guyer (Texas) — Athletic and accurate, Heard has everything but ideal size.

3) Demetrius Knox, OT, Fort Worth All Saints — Big offensive tackle can be a run-paving force at the next level.

4) Donald Catalon, RB, Houston Eisenhower (TEXAS) — Ask him to do anything. Physical for his size, with the wheels to make defenses pay.

5) Trevon Tate, OL, Galena North Shore — The state's top interior offensive lineman. Athletic and nasty.

6) Keenen Brown, WR, Alief Taylor — What you want from a wide receiver. Big frame and big-play speed.

7) Lorenzo Joe, WR, Abilene Cooper (TEXAS) — Joe has tremendous hands and body control. Great throwing the ball, too.

8) Tony Upchurch, ATH, Pearland Dawson — Physical target a nightmare in one-on-one situations as a receiver.

9) Javon Arnett, RB, Waco La Vega — Tremendous stop-start and acceleration. A spread scatback.

10) Daniel Gresham, FB, Fort Worth All Saints (TEXAS) — Big body has surprising speed and great balance.
