Top Big 12 Defensive Recruits

Looking at the top defensive recruits landed by Big 12 schools in the 2014 class.

There are many ways to look at a recruiting class. There are the Scout.com class rankings, which comprise a view at a class's strength, and depth. But it's also interesting to take a look at the league as a whole to see who brought in the top quarterback, running back, wide receiver, etc.

Which player represented the top guy landed by the Big 12 at his respective position? Those players were determined by their Scout.com rankings. In the case of multiple four stars, or three stars, the players were chosen by positional rank. And in the case of a position where multiple players are listed — like at defensive end — the No. 1 receiver listed is the top-ranked end, No. 2 DE listed is the second-best end, etc.
